Your profile

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Database Developer to join our dynamic team. This role requires a strong understanding of database architecture, SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning. The Oracle Database Developer will work closely with other developers, business analysts, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database schemas, tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and triggers,
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries and PL/SQL code for various applications,
• Perform database performance tuning, including query optimization, indexing strategies, and database configuration adjustments,
• Analyze and resolve database performance issues, deadlocks, and other database-related problems,
• Collaborate with application developers to ensure efficient and effective database integration,
• Develop and implement database backup and recovery strategies,
• Ensure data integrity and security through appropriate database design and implementation,
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high quality and adherence to coding standards,
• Document database designs, configurations, and procedures,
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle technologies and best practices,

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field,
• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle Database Developer,
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming,
• Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture, including concepts like tablespaces, data files, control files, redo logs, and archiving,
• Experience with database performance tuning tools and techniques,
• Familiarity with data modeling tools and concepts (e.g., ERDs),
• Familiarity with APEX, Oracle EBS, ODI, or GoldenGate is an advantage,
• Excellent communication skills in English,
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills,
• Experience with cloud-based Oracle solutions (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure - OCI),
• Familiarity with other database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) is a plus.
