We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our Buymie team.


Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks for web, backend and mobile applications,
• Design, develop and maintain automated test cases for web, backend and mobile applications,
• Work with QA and development teams to identify areas suitable for automation,
• Ensure consistent and reliable test execution and reporting,
• Communicate status to stakeholders and develop reports showing the automation testing status of releases,
• Collaborate with manual QA teams to convert regression test cases into automated suites,
• Create and maintain automation documentation and reusable frameworks,
• Troubleshoot test failures, identify root causes, and communicate results clearly,
• Contribute to performance and load testing initiatives,
• Create and maintain automation roadmap and to show progress against roadmap.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience,
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance techniques, testing concepts, methodologies and tools,
• 4+ years in software testing with at least 3 years in automation,
• Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver, Java and Git,
• Experience in building frameworks for UI, API and backend automation,
• Knowledge of test management tools such as Azure DevOps,
• Strong analytical testing mindset that can create positive, negative and edge cases test scenarios,
• Understanding of SDLC, waterfall and agile delivery processes,
• Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken,
• Experience in producing testing documentation (strategies, plans, execution reports etc),
•  Experience in managing complex data sets for reliable automated testing,
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, share ideas and information, facilitate discussions and transfer knowledge to achieve collective objectives,
• Ability to demonstrate automation to stakeholders.
